Job Summary: ACCESS Program Manager
The ACCESS Program Manager will play a critical role in managing and guiding our ACCESS program, a community health initiative designed to increase healthcare accessibility for underprivileged groups. In this position, you will oversee all aspects of the program, including staff management, program development, outreach, and reporting. You’ll collaborate with healthcare providers, community partners, and other public health organizations to ensure the program’s effectiveness and efficiency. Your work will be key in helping individuals in need receive essential healthcare services, bringing hope and wellness to our community.
Key Responsibilities of the ACCESS Program Manager
As the ACCESS Program Manager, you will oversee the full implementation and operation of the ACCESS program. Your primary responsibilities include:
1. Program Management and Development
- Lead the planning and development of the ACCESS program to expand healthcare services for underserved communities.
- Set short-term and long-term goals for the program and monitor progress toward achieving them.
- Identify community needs by working closely with local health officials and using data to adapt the program accordingly.
2. Team Leadership and Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise ACCESS program staff, fostering a positive, productive work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss program developments, address challenges, and celebrate successes.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to ensure staff meet program objectives efficiently and with care.
3. Community Outreach and Partnership Building
- Build strong relationships with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to maximize program reach.
- Develop and execute outreach plans to increase awareness and participation in the ACCESS program.
- Represent Public Health Services at community events and meetings, spreading awareness of our work and forging valuable partnerships.
4. Financial Management and Reporting
- Manage the program budget effectively, making adjustments to ensure financial sustainability.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports on program outcomes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Track funding sources and secure additional grants or resources as needed to support program expansion.
5. Client Support and Advocacy
- Act as a key resource for program participants, helping them navigate healthcare services and resources.
- Advocate for the needs of underserved individuals within the healthcare system, addressing any barriers they face.
- Ensure that participants feel welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their journey in the ACCESS program.
Required Qualifications for the ACCESS Program Manager

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Management, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in program management, preferably within a public health or social services setting.
- Certification: Certifications related to program management or public health, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), are a plus.
