About the Job
As a Store Associate at Lidl, you will do many different jobs in the store. You won’t just be a cashier or someone who stocks shelves. You will help in every part of the store.
You might be working in the bakery, helping in the produce section, or setting up weekly specials. You’ll also help keep the store clean and make sure our customers have a great shopping trip. Every day will be a little different, so you’ll always be learning something new.

What You Will Do
Here are some of the things you will do as a Store Associate at Lidl:
- Help unload boxes when trucks bring deliveries
- Put new items on shelves quickly and neatly
- Greet and help customers find what they need
- Work at the cash register to check out customers
- Keep the whole store clean and neat, including the parking lot and breakroom
- Learn how to help in the bakery, the produce section, and the non-food section
- Set up signs and displays for weekly sales
- Work well with your teammates and talk clearly with your manager
What You Need to Have
To work in this job, you should:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be able to lift and carry items that weigh more than 50 pounds
- Be able to reach and stretch above your head
- Be able to work early mornings or late evenings, including some weekends
- Have a positive attitude, even when things get busy
- Be a good communicator who listens and talks kindly
- Be ready to move quickly and work hard as part of a team
